Process

The foldable desk was first sketched with pencil and paper getting the an idea of what it will look like and how it will work. After its sketch, it was modeled in Rhinoceros 3D creating a rendering of the product to get a cleaner visual and be able to obtain the different views to place in the measurements in the program Adobe Illustrator, in the areas needed for an easier time when constructing the product.

The first image indicates the top, front, side and a perspective view of the desk. It includes many measurements for the lengths, widths and heights on what would be the different pieces of wood that are needed to construct that product. The image on the right, indicates how the foldable desk would look like visually on a wall and on how it would be attached to the wall to hold its self in its place.  The images were touched up in Adobe Photoshop.

How To Use It?

The foldable desk also has two legs on both of its sides to allow the user to to have a more sturdier area and allows for some change in height. The desk can be folded upwards when not in use to allow the consumer to use the extra space in the room that the desk would be located in. The process of folding the desk requires the user to put away the legs of the desk back in the desk, lift it upwards and twist it until the area of the legs are tucked between the wall, with the flat area of the desk facing the user.
